Johnson
Johnson is a rising star, his very interesting dressage pedigree combined with a perfect dressage model and
three excellent gaits make him a super horse for all the dressage experts. Fundamental for this stallion are his
easygoing character and willingness to work under saddle. This beautiful stallion is already KWPN and
Oldenburg approved.

Johnson was the overall champion of the KWPN stallion show in 2005 and he did very well in both the
performance test at Oldenburg and Ermelo. Johnson is in the top ranking of the KWPN stallion competition of
2006-2007. In 2007, Johnson was placed second at the stallion competition and the PAVO-cup to finish 6th
place at the World Championships in Verden.

In early 2008, Johnson won the final of the stallion competition at M-level with a super score of 91 points! At
the 2009 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals Johnson received a 9 for his canter and showed much balance in
his half passes placing 2nd overall.

Johnson is a son of the ‘Preferent’ stallion Jazz. Jazz himself performed at grand prix level with his rider Tineke
Bartels. Grandsire, Olympic Cocktail also performed at the highest possible level and achieved numerous
victories and high placings in grand prix and kur to music. Grandsire, Flemmingh ‘Preferent’, is famous for
producing the grand prix dressage horses, Krack C with Anky van Grunsven and Lingh. Great grandsire Sultan
is not only the sire of the Oldenburg approved stallion Sion, but also of the world famous jumper It's Otto from
Geoff Billington. Johnson descends from the famous 'Reina' line; the renowned mare line from breeder Wim
van Arkel.

Johnson’s first foal crop was born in 2006, he received a very favourable foal report from the KWPN as
follows; Johnson showed a uniform collection, well developed, riding type foals well rectangular modeled and
who upgrade themselves in movement. The foals are moving with a good leg technique, have lots of
suppleness and a good self carriage.

From Johnson's first breeding year three offspring were selected to participate in the finals of the world
championships dressage at Verden. Amongst them were Bretton Woods and Boston. Johnson has three
approved sons with the KWPN: Breezer, Bretton Woods and Jacksparrow.

Johnson himself is very successful in international dressage competitions with Hans Peter Minderhoud
