Flemmiro SSM
At her keuring, Flemmiro was awarded 1st premium foal and keuring champion. The judges remarked on
her easy way of moving, her power of stride and very good trot. Flemmiro aims to please, and definitely
has an amateur friendly temperment but fancy enough for a professional.

Flemmiro’s dam, Onilia, is an impressive imported KWPN ster mare. Onilia has an unbeatable work ethic
under saddle and endless power; she is very intelligent and not only has a talent for dressage but has
fantastic form over jumps as well. She is a proven producer of high quality foals that have not only
excelled in the dressage ring but also in the hunters and jumpers. Onilia is by the prolific ‘Preferent’ KWPN
stallion Olympic Ferro, competed at the 2000 Olympics and assisted his team in achieving a team silver
medal, with an individual score of 74.92%. In 2002 Olympic Ferro once again had the highest scores on
the Dutch Olympic team. Ferro is renowned for consistently achieving high scores for piaffe and passage.

As a three year old Ferro was champion of his performance test at Ermelo. He achieved 1st out of 30 with
a final score of 84 and the outstanding results of: 6.5 walk, 8.5 trot, 8.5 canter, 8.0 for riding type, 8.5
jumping with rider, 8.5 free jumping, 8.5 cross country jumping, 9.0 for character, 9.0 for stall behavior
and 9.0 for training report.
In addition to their dressage excellence, Olympic Ferro's offspring also make exceptional jumpers. During
his competitive career Olympic Ferro, was consistently in the #1 spot on the BCM World Stallion Rankings
for dressage. Ferro is affectionately known as the “Black Pearl” of the Netherlands, the KWPN are justifiably
extremely proud of this fabulous stallion. He can be relied upon to produce beautiful, talented offspring of
the highest quality, with fantastic top-lines, elegance and presence. There is little question that Olympic
Ferro will continue leaving his mark in the history of the KWPN long after his untimely death in 2005.
Flemmiro’s sire the ‘Preferent’ KWPN stallion, Flemmingh, scored 9 out of a possible 10 for three sections
of his performance test which include: paces, trainability and jumping under saddle. He is an
internationally appreciated stallion, regarded as an outstanding improver of action and passing on good
conformation to his progeny. Flemmingh is considered by many to be the greatest producer of dressage
horses in the world.

Flemmingh sires beautiful big, long-lined horses with three perfect gaits. This can be seen on numerous
Ster and Keur mares, champion foals and dressage performance horses that he has produced. The foals of
Flemmingh are very much in demand by dressage riders, trainers and dealers because they are eager
learners, like to work and move with great ease.

Flemmingh has five approved sons. The first international performances of his offspring have shown them
to be truly world class. His son Lingh is doing very well at Grand Prix and is currently ranked #2 in the
FEI/BCM World Dressage Rankings with his sensational rider Edward Gal. Flemmingh’s most notable son
Krack C, winner of the Pavo Cup in 2000, is consistently ranked in the top of the world with the current
Olympic Champion Anky Van Grunsven. Both Krack C and Lingh are selected for the Dutch A-team.
Flemmingh is the sire of many champion mares such as: Kwebbel, reserve-champion UTV and the highest
IBOP of the Netherlands with 90 points, Likina Field reserve-champion UTV and Kevanie UTV reserve-
champion.

Flemmiro not only has the pedigree packed with talent to pave the way for her but has been given the best
of both her sire Flemmingh and her grand sire Ferro; the elastic gaits, floating movement and kindness the
Flemmingh line is cherished for – and the hind end power, athleticism and extra spark the Ferro line is
renowned for. There is no doubt that she is destined to make her mark on the dressage ring, she is a very
special young filly!
